I'm Kimberly, I’m originally from Los Angeles and now proudly serve the Long Beach community inside my private salon suite, Hair By Kim. My passion lies in creating effortless, lived-in color and tailored haircuts that enhance your natural beauty and fit seamlessly into your lifestyle.

​I know how important self-care is, and in everyone’s busy lives, finding the time to put yourself first can be challenging. I want your experience in my chair to be an escape — a place where you can truly relax and be yourself. Whether you prefer a silent appointment to unwind, a chance to catch up from your last visit, or even a moment to get some work done, your time here is 100% yours. My goal is always for you to leave feeling refreshed, recharged, empowered, and confident.

​I’ve been behind the chair for over ten years, and I’m still as passionate about my craft as I was on day one. Over the years, I’ve honed my specialty in lived-in blonding, dimensional color, grey coverage, and soft, flowing layers for medium to long hair, always keeping your hair healthy, wearable, and tailored to your lifestyle. I see the natural beauty in everyone and make it my mission to enhance what’s already there, rather than change it.

​Education and growth are central to my work. I continuously invest in advanced training to stay current with evolving techniques and trends, ensuring every client leaves with hair that’s beautiful, effortless, and personalized. I believe the best results come from collaboration — together, we create a look that fits your lifestyle, your budget, and your long-term hair goals.​

 

Outside of the salon, I love exploring new restaurants, discovering cozy coffee spots, and pushing my limits at the gym. When winter rolls around, you’ll find me snowboarding, and at the end of the day, I’m happiest relaxing with my goofy bulldog.​T
